The purpose of the Association is to coordinate economic activity of its members in order to promote development of the inland waterway infrastructure, including the one of river waterways, and facilitate improvement of the business environment related to inland waterways, including river ones, without being entitled to interfere in operational and commercial activity of the members.

The main fields of activity of Association:

• monitoring the bills, registered with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and other regulatory acts, drafted by Ministries of Ukraine;
• preparation of bills and other regulatory acts of ministries of Ukraine;
• formation of public opinion by posting of informative articles in the media;
• event management of workshops, forums and seminars;
• preparation site content about the main problematic matters of rivers for navigation and other purposes
